Frequently asked questions

Are the lessons suitable for adults aged 50+?

Absolutely. My private ski lessons are designed for adults aged 50 and over, whether you're learning to ski for the first time, returning to the slopes after many years, or looking to improve your technique. Each lesson is tailored to your fitness level, experience and personal goals, so you can enjoy skiing with confidence and at your own pace.

From what age is a skier considered a senior?

There is no fixed age. SkiSeniors is designed for senior skiers, older adults, active adults and skiers over 50 who want private ski lessons in Val Thorens at a comfortable pace, with confidence, safety and personal guidance.

Are the lessons only for seniors?

No. The lessons are mainly intended for seniors, but any adult who wants calm, reassuring and personalised ski coaching is welcome. The pace is adapted to your level, your fitness and your confidence on skis.

Where do the ski lessons take place?

The private ski lessons take place mainly in Val Thorens, in the heart of the 3 Vallées ski area. Depending on your level, your wishes and the conditions, we can also ski further across the 3 Vallées.

Can we ski in the 3 Vallées?

Yes, depending on your ski level, your ski pass, the weather and the snow conditions. Outings can include Méribel, Courchevel, Les Menuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville or Orelle.

What ski level do I need?

Lessons are suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers. The aim is to help you progress safely, without pressure, with clear advice adapted to your level.

Can I book a private ski instructor in Val Thorens?

Yes. Click “Request availability” to open my official ESF Val Thorens profile and send your request with your dates and preferred times. You will then receive a confirmation. For any question, email me at contact@skiseniors.com or send me a WhatsApp message.

Half-day or full day private ski lesson?

A half-day lesson is often ideal to progress without too much fatigue. A full day is suitable if you want to ski more, discover more slopes or enjoy more complete guidance across Val Thorens or the 3 Vallées.

How many people can take part?

The displayed rates are the same for 1 to 4 people. This small group format keeps the lesson personal, comfortable and adapted to each skier.

Which ski pass should I choose?

For a beginner, the first day can sometimes be organised without a full ski pass. For an intermediate level, the Val Thorens ski pass is often enough. To ski across the 3 Vallées, a 3 Vallées ski pass may be required.

Where is the meeting point in Val Thorens?

The meeting point is agreed together: near your residence, your hotel, or at an easy point on the slopes in Val Thorens.

How does booking work?

Click “Request availability” to open my official ESF Val Thorens profile and fill in the request form (dates, times, number of people). Your lesson is confirmed once the request has been processed. For any question, email me at contact@skiseniors.com or send me a WhatsApp message.

How do I pay?

Booking and payment are confirmed according to ESF procedures. After your request, you will receive the necessary information.

What happens in bad weather?

The decision is made according to the real conditions in Val Thorens. The goal is always to ski in safe, comfortable and enjoyable conditions.
